What you need

tsp dry yeast

oz condensed milk

cup milk

tsp ground cardamom

cup all purpose flour

cup sugar

tsp kosher salt

cup heavy cream

tbsp milk powder

tbsp unsalted butter

oz evaporated milk
brown egg
Instructions
• Prepare the donut dough using the recipe I’ve shared before. Let it rise for about 60 - 90 min at room temperature until it doubles in size • Roll the dough into a 1/2 inch thick sheet. Cut out 4” circles. Repeat until you have all donuts • Rest for about 45 min in a warm place • Heat 2-3 inches of oil in a wok over medium heat. Once it has reached 350F, carefully drop in a test donut and cook for 2min per side. Test for doneness and adjust timing as needed. Fry all donuts accordingly • Slice donuts into half horizontally. Mix the soak ingredients in a bowl and pour over donuts carefully to drench them. You may not need the entire soak. Transfer to the fridge for 2 hours until the donuts have absorbed the liquid • Whip up heavy cream and powdered sugar. Spread some cream on each half donut and cover with the other half. Pipe little dollops of cream on top of each donut for décor Serve and enjoy!View original recipe
